Our top priority for welcoming guests and team members back to CIVANA is doing it safely, with your wellbeing in mind. As we re-open on September 16, 2020 we are putting into effect even higher wellbeing standards, allowing us to ensure the highest level of service, cleanliness, and safety.
That’s right. We are limiting the amount of reservations per night. This will allow for plenty of added cleaning time for our housekeeping team and ensure our guests can properly social distance, whether they are participating in a wellness class, nourishing their bodies, restoring at the spa, or just enjoying time in the sun by the pool.
Rigorous Cleaning Protocols:
The resort will be thoroughly deep cleaned and sanitized and will maintain a rigorous cleaning schedule utilizing industry leading electrostatic spray technology and hospital-grade disinfectant. Items in public spaces and guest rooms that cannot be sanitized to our standards have been removed. All luggage exterior is required to be disinfected upon arrival and will be delivered to guests rooms
Protocols & Staff Training Programs:
All team members will participate in ongoing COVID-19 safety and sanitization training.
All staff members are prescreened daily through temperature checks and questionnaires through which they certify the absence of any symptoms related to COVID-19 or exposure to anyone experiencing symptoms related to COVID-19. If any of our team members fail the prescreening process they will not be permitted on resort premises.
Guests will be prescreened each time when entering the resort, prior to any Spa appointments, and prior to an indoor class.
Face Coverings Required:
Face coverings for team members and guests will be required in all indoor public areas at CIVANA. In accordance with our heightened standards of safety, face coverings will be required in any outdoor spaces where social distancing cannot be observed.
Hand Sanitizing Stations Abound:
Hand sanitizing stations have been set up in all public buildings and throughout our property.
Flexible Cancellation Policy:
We are offering flexible cancellation policies to give you peace of mind while you consider CIVANA for future travel.
For reservations made in 2020, we are extending a flexible cancellation policy should you need to cancel. For cancellations made more than 3 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, you will receive a full refund.
Embracing Nature’s Playground: Reimagined Wellness Programming
CIVANA has reimagined its signature wellness offerings to take greater advantage of nature’s inherent capacity for self-healing; from morning mediation in the rose garden, to twice daily desert hikes, outdoor sunset spin classes, sound-bowl + star gazing sessions on the yoga lawn and more (all socially distanced). Each day CIVANA will continue to offer 8-10 wellness classes that touch on all four domains of wellbeing: physical, spiritual, emotional and mental.
Reinvented Restorative Spa Treatments
To prioritize the wellbeing of our team members and your safety, we are offering a limited menu of spa services and reducing the capacity of our treatment rooms. Spa appointments fill up quickly and last-minute spa availability cannot be guaranteed. Advance spa reservations are required.
Enhanced Dining and Nourishment Experiences
CIVANA will continue to offer breakfast, lunch and dinner. All outdoor dining spaces have been enhanced along with new culinary offerings to ensure a safe and enjoyable dining experience.
Seed, CIVANA’s cafe and specialty market – offering energy-boosting breakfast and lunch items as well as a full coffee and fresh juice bar – will have enhanced outdoor and indoor seating with at least 6 feet between tables, as will Terras – CIVANA’s signature dinner restaurant serving flavorful, nourishing cuisine. All printed menus are single-use and will be discarded after each guest. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), such as face masks, will be worn by restaurant team members in accordance with CDC guidelines and Arizona state laws.
In-Room Dining will be available from 6am-9pm with non-contact delivery.
In addition to our already high standard of cleaning, the frequency of cleaning and sanitizing has been increased in all public spaces with an emphasis on frequent contact surfaces, such as door handles, faucets, lobby area.
