Dr. Sheila Patel, renowned for her expertise in integrative medicine, blending the wisdom of Ayurveda, meditation, and yoga with modern medical practices. With years of experience and a dedication to holistic health, she offers a unique and personalized approach to healing.
Dr. Sheila's philosophy centers around a preventive, predictive, personalized, and participatory approach to health, aiming to enhance the wellbeing of individuals and society as a whole. With over 25 years as a primary care physician, she integrates traditional healing practices and modern medicine, utilizing the tools and knowledge of Ayurveda in her patients' healing plans.
Passionate about supporting people on their healing journey, Dr. Sheila believes in our innate ability to heal. She has witnessed this ability at work in various settings and teaches people how to support their inner healer, helping them thrive in body, mind, and spirit.

Weekend Sessions:
- Physical Health & Daily Rhythms: Explore the foundational elements of Ayurveda for physical health—including nutrition, digestion, movement, and sleep—and how these influence your energy, immunity, and longevity.
- Emotional Wellbeing & Mind-Body Balance: Learn how stress and past experiences are held in the body and nervous system, and discover practices from Ayurveda and neuroscience that help restore balance and build inner resilience.
- Designing Your Daily Routine: On our final day, we’ll bring everything together and support you in designing a simple, sustainable daily routine that reflects your unique needs—something you can bring home and continue with confidence.
1:1 with Dr. Sheila
Retreat guests seeking deeper guidance and support will have the opportunity to add on a 60-minute private mentorship session. Rooted in Dr. Sheila’s integrative approach, blending Ayurvedic wisdom with her experience as a physician and meditation teacher.

*Stay dates are between 5/29-6/1/25. Rate is prepaid, non-refundable. Cannot be combined with other offers. Subject to availability. Communal Meals, includes 8 communal vegan Ayurvedic meals daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Spa treatments up to $275 per treatment, gratuity included. Max of two treatments per guest and can not be transferred to other guests. Experience Fee will be applied per guest, per night + tax and includes: full access to daily complimentary wellness programming, restful resort amenities, fitness center, resort bikes, CIVANA water bottle with access to on-property FloWater alkaline water hydration stations, WIFI, self-parking, and more.
